The UV flashlight is a tool used in the game to find finger/footprints of any spirits in the area. Signs of fingerprints are considered evidence in determining what sort of ghost the players are dealing with in "Phasmophobia".

The "EMF Reader" is a tool in the game that reads an area for Electric Magnetic Fields, which are produced by the spirits. Helping the team of players to track down where a spirit might be dwelling.
